Partners sought for $240m development

QUEENSLAND developer the Samtay Group is seeking partners to participate in a $240 million, world-class eco-development on its prized northern NSW beachfront site at Wooyung,
near Pottsville.

Samtay Group, headed by Gold Coast businessman Cameron Davis, has approval to develop the Wooyung Beach Resort on the site it purchased last year for $5.5 million. The 80-hectare site is on Wooyung Road, Wooyung.

Under the development plans, only
15 per cent of the site will be developed into an ESD resort-style project established under sustainable development principles.

Development will be set back at least 120m from the beach.

The expressions of interest campaign is being co-ordinated by national agent Guillaume Volz at Knight Frank and locally by Jamie Bourke, of Ray White Commercial.
