MORE BRUMBY'S FOR RFG

RETAIL food brand manager and franchisor Retail Food Group Limited has added Western Australia and the Northern Territory Brumby’s franchises to its national acquisition coup in a scrip and cash deal.

There are 50 outlets within the Brumby’s WA territory and a further eight outlets in the Northern Territory.

Last November the ASX-listed company acquired the north Queensland and New Zealand master franchise territories.

“The combined Brumby’s WA and NT master franchise territories achieve the highest average weekly sales in Australia,” says RFG chief executive Tony Alford.

“From the perspective of operational service capability and strategic development the Brumby’s WA and NT acquisitions compliment the north Queensland and New Zealand master franchise territory
acquisitions and full integration will be achieved within a relatively short time frame.”

In December, RFG restacked its pantry after acquiring 37 southeast Queensland-based Big Dad’s Pies outlets.
