CORPORATE TRAVEL MANAGEMENT TAKES OUT AWARD

CORPORATE Travel Management (ASX:CTM) has been awarded Top Australian Agency in an awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi last week.

The Abacus International Conference Awards is voted by suppliers and recognises the achievements of travel agencies across Asia Pacific.

CTM CEO Australia and New Zealand Laura Ruffles says the recognition confirms the company’s growth strategy.

“We are acknowledged to have been acknowledged by our peers as the best agency in the Asia Pacific region,” Ruffles says.

“Winning such an award is testament to the shared vision that CTM and our valued partners hold in providing our clients with customised solutions and innovative travel technologies on a local and global scale.”

The award caps off a successful year for CTM, after being named Australia’s Best Corporate Travel Management Company by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents in July.

The company extended its US reach with the acquisition of USTravel and Avia International Travel earlier this year.

The ceremony formed part of a three-day conference with 500 representatives from the travel industry.
