"Cyborg justice" for Meow-Meow in the District Court

Sydney biohacker Meow-Ludo Disco Gamma Meow-Meow has officially won his plight for for "cyborg justice"  in the NSW District Court.

Meow-Meow, who was fined after he implanted a NSW travel card chip into his arm, says "cyborg justice has been served" after a court overturned his conviction.

The biohacker claims he acted within the law at all times as he tapped on using an Opal reader, despite the Opal card's NFC chip being implanted underneath his skin.

He was fined $220 and ordered to pay $1000 in legal costs at Newtown Local Court in March, with a conviction being recorded at the time.

Meow-Meow later successfully appealed this conviction and the fine, howeveer the 33-year-old biohacker must still pay $1000 in prosecution costs.

"I'll have to pay the costs but won the moral victory," says Meow-Meow in a Facebook post.

"Cyborg Justice has been served."
