SHARK TANK CASTING OPEN TO ENTREPRENEURS FOR 2018 SHOW

CASTING is now underway for entrepreneurs to have their chance at pitching their business to the Sharks on Network Ten's critically acclaimed Shark Tank.

Season four of the show will return with five of Australia's most successful business people searching for the next big idea to turn into a profitable investment.

Shark Tank sees up and coming every day Australian entrepreneurs pitch their creative, unique and sometimes crazy ideas to the Sharks, who will back the best ventures and vastly grow their business.

Returning to the tank in 2018 are the resident Sharks Dr Glen Richards (pictured), Janine Allis, Andrew Banks, Steve Baxter and Naomi Simson, who are all self-made multi-millionaires, ready to invest their own money.

"Calling all startups, scale-ups and SMEs, now is the time to apply for season four of Shark Tank," Richards says.

"What will Shark Tank do for you? Get national exposure, possibly reset your balance sheet and turbo charge your business with proven growth strategies from myself and other Sharks.

"Shark Tank is not only for startups but established businesses with strong revenue streams looking to expand and grow."

In three years, Shark Tank has helped hundreds of businesses reach impressive milestones, and many of those have benefited even without a deal.

One of this year's success stories Jimalie Organic Coconut Products are convinced that without the Sharks, their business would not have lasted. Owner Jaypee says, "If we hadn't gone on Shark Tank, the business would have gone under. We had massive issues beforehand and the investment and exposure we've gotten has allowed us to solve our problems, stay afloat and grow the business."

Other examples of success from the series:

Be Fit Food. Since appearing on Shark Tank, the business has seen a 1500% increase in sales and their turnover projection for next year is now $5 million.

Sofi Spritz. The business has seen a 150% increase in sales since the show and projecting for triple digit growth next year.
