CREEVEY RUSSELL LAUNCHES TOOWOOMBA SISTER COMPANY

CREEVEY RUSSELL LAUNCHES TOOWOOMBA SISTER COMPANY

QUEENSLAND law firm Creevey Russell Lawyers is launching a sister company in Toowoomba called CR Lawyers.

Perry Russell (right), a principal of Creevey Russell, will head up the new firm and its services in conveyancing, wills and estate planning, criminal law, family law, and leases.

Russell says the new sister company is a "win-win-win" for Creevey Russell.

"CR Lawyers will be able to look after our clients' different legal needs while allowing the Creevey Russell team to provide excellence in other key areas...including commercial and property law, litigation and agribusiness."

The new firm will use the same premises as Creevey Russell Lawyers, at the James Cook Centre in Toowoomba, and on Adelaide Street in Brisbane.

It will offer a fixed price promise - an upfront cost for legal services.

Russell says CR Lawyers will ensure that "there are no legal bill surprises."

"We know when people think of needing a lawyer they instantly think it will be expensive," he says.

"With CR Lawyers there will be no surprises... Any changes, then a client will know about it before we move any further forward with their particular legal matter."

After nearly 16 years at Clewett Lawyers, Russell joined Creevey Russell as a founding partner in 2009. He completed his law studies at the Queensland University of Technology.
