MASTER CHOCOLATIER SWEET ON BRISBANE

MASTER CHOCOLATIER SWEET ON BRISBANE

BRISBANE is about to get a whole lot sweeter with the opening of Queensland's first Lindt Chocolate Shop this week.

The store will be opening its doors on September 5 at the Skygate DFO precinct, alongside more than 30 additional tenancies in a newly extended section of the centre that has added 5000sqm of space to the development.

Lindt Australia CEO Stephen Loane says the new shop will feature all the chocolatier's staple favourites including Australia's largest selection of Lindor balls and a chocolate bar offering a decadent selection of hot and cold beverages.

"We are very excited to be opening the doors to our first Queensland Chocolate Shop next Saturday; the centre is looking fantastic and we are proud to be part of this redevelopment," says Loane.

"We anticipate a busy opening as shoppers and locals experience the ultimate chocolate delight for the first time in Brisbane."

The redevelopment of the shopping centre is part of a $30 million plan to transform the Brisbane Airport retail, commercial and lifestyle precinct.

The Brisbane store will be the 13th dedicated Lindt outlet to open in Australia and to celebrate its launch, the first 100 customers in store on the day will receive 100 free Lindor balls each.

Lindt has laid plans to expand its retail footprint further in Australia.
