Superior win

SUPERIOR Jetties is the Regional Exporter of the year in the Premier of Queensland’s 2009 Export Awards.

The company develops, designs, manufactures and installs a variety of marine berthing systems and products including pontoons, jetties, boatlifts and water based boardwalks, to build marine projects around the world.

Managing director John Hogan, says the company is also a finalist in the prestigious DAME Awards to be held at the METS Trade Show in Amsterdam later this month.

“We maintain a close liaison with Trade Queensland’s local team and its international officers and we’re always on the lookout for new export opportunities,” says Hogan.

“We are very proud to have achieved significant exports of high quality Australian products and will continue to grow Superior Jetties with exports as a key component of our operations.”

In 2008-09, the company completed the Port Klang Marina in Malaysia, worked with a local partner to build the new Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre superyacht marina in just 90 days and won the tender to build the new Han River Marina in Korea.
