Steve Scanlan joins Technology People, to launch the business in Melbourne

Sydney's Technology People have secured the backing of Brisbane Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 Steve Scanlan.

Following the sale of his IT business Recon Solutions to labour hire and workforce management business People Infrastructure, Scanlan has bought a stake in Technology People and has joined the company as Director of Growth.

People Infrastructure operates across four main sectors including health and social care, information technology, specialist services and labour hire.

Technology People is a Sydney-based IT recruitment firm that works with ASX top 50 companies as well as start-ups.

Scanlan's first task at Technology People will be to launch the business in Melbourne.

As part of Scanlan's buy-in to Technology People, his current business Arc Executive will merge into Technology People and its IT consulting arm Novon.

"After admiring Technology People from afar for many years, I'm extremely excited to announce that I'll be joining their team," says Scanlan.

"I've spent considerable time with them over the past six months and can genuinely say this is the best delivery/recruitment team I've ever encountered. As the Director of Growth, I'm particularly excited at the passion, energy and drive within the organisation."
