Scaleup Doshii partners with Restaurant & Catering Association to support industry recovery

Australian tech company Doshii has announced a partnership with the Restaurant & Catering Association (RCA) to support the hospitality sector’s road to recovery as COVID-19 restrictions ease nationally.

The technology platform that enables restaurants and other hospitality businesses to connect apps to their Point of Sale (PoS) system will partner with the RCA by giving its more than 47,000 members access to Doshii’s products.

The company’s products aim to eliminate double-handling and mistakes caused by managing orders across different tables and devices by connecting hospitality apps directly to a PoS.

“Doshii’s platform will help hospitality venues become more streamlined, efficient and will eliminate many of the administration burdens that operators face on a day-to-day basis,” RCA CEO Wes Lambert said.

“We are proud to have Doshii partner with RCA to give the best possible deal for our members.”

This latest support program comes after Doshii announced earlier this year it was waiving monthly subscription and order fees for all existing and new customers until the end of 2021.

“Partnering with the RCA is very much part of our strategy to provide the most benefit to our customers,” said Justin O’Donnell, CEO of Doshii which hopes to soon be compatible with the PoS systems of more than 75 per cent of Australian hospitality venues.

“It’s been a tough two years for hospitality and we believe we have a responsibility to help out wherever we can.

“We want to help venues focus on getting back on their feet and doing what they do best, without worrying about getting another bill.”
