LEASES SECURED AT HAWTHORN PROPERTY

TWO tenancies at a freestanding commercial property in Hawthorn have been snapped up by businesses making the move to east Brisbane.

Residential property company Urban Design Solutions and Microlot Coffee House have taken up leases at 174sqm building at Riding Road.

The deals were negotiated by Rhiannon Jones of Ray White Commercial Trade Coast.

"Urban Design Solutions had been looking for office accommodation for some time," Jones says.

"We found this space on Riding Road, which was just what they were seeking. The building has a lot of character and the location near Hawthorn Park, the Oxford St Bulimba retail and café precinct as well as being close to the CityCat and the Brisbane CBD is very appealing."

Urban Design Solutions has secured a two-year lease with the option for an extra two years, while Microlot Coffee House has taken up a five-year plus another five tenancy.

Both tenancies have been secured for a combined net rental of approximately $39,000 per annum.

The corner site is approximately 339sqm with five tenancies in total.
