LAND ROVER DISCOVERY MARKS 25 YEARS

LAND Rover has launched a special edition Discovery, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the family SUV.

The Discovery XXV features new badging, Windsor leather interior and newly designed 20 inch forged alloy wheels.

Jaguar Land Rover group marketing director Phil Popham says the model has pioneered the success of the brand.

“Discovery has led the way in terms of innovation, featuring technologies such as Terrain Response, which made off-roading much more accessible.

“The Discover XXV Special Edition is the ultimate in sophisticated versatility and a fitting tribute to the legendary status of this iconic Land Rover,” he says.

The XXV is available in Causeway Grey, Santorini Black, Fuji White and Indus Silver in honour of the jubilee.

It builds on the HSE specification with three interior colour combinations, twist pile carpet mats and XXV embossing throughout.

More than one million Discovery vehicles have been sold globally since inception in 1989.

The price and Australian release date of the special edition is yet to be confirmed.
