HYBRID WEB TAKES ON BIG GUNS AND WINS

HYBRID Web, a budding Gold Coast website developer, has taken out two top accolades at the 2014 Australian Web Awards.

The website developer was awarded for the Tallebudgera-based Fifi’s Fabricology website in the E-commerce and Mobile categories in the Queensland division of the awards.

In addition to being a client of Hybrid Web’s, Fifi’s Fabricology operates as Australia’s largest quilt fabric online store.

Hybrid Web owner and chief strategist Michael Goode says this measures up as a big win for his growing team.

Goode founded the business in 2007 after being urged by clients to expand his services from the likes of business cards and brochures into websites, and rebranded from Broadbeach Media a couple of years later.

“We are a growing team taking on the big guns from around Australia,” says Goode.

“It just shows when you have a team of dedicated and clever individuals that work well together you can achieve amazing results.”

Fifi’s Fabricology owner Fiona Wright says Hybrid Web have shown an “unwavering willingness” to develop the company’s web presence since their relationship began four years ago.

“The ability of Michael and the Hybrid Web team to find solutions that would help with the enormous growth that our fabric shop has had since we started four years ago shows an unwavering willingness to go to the next level for his clients,” says Wright.

“That has resulted in this fantastic recognition for their team and ultimately my business as well.”

The Australian Web Awards are presented by the Australian Web Industry Association (AWIA) and have been running since 2005.

Winners are judged on a combination score of validation, performance, accessibility, design and content, and are regarded to be in the top 10 per cent of quality websites.
