Crooked Business in the Big Apple

CRIMINAL defence lawyer and filmmaker Chris Nyst will take his gangster flick Crooked Business to the New York Film Festival next month.

Alongside producer Scott Corfield (Carbon Studio), the pair will shop three other films to prospective distributors and investors in the Big Apple on October 22.

Crooked Business will get its first international screening in the US at the festival. Corfield has received funding from the Pacific Film and Television Commission to assist with the trip. The film will also launch to DVD in New Zealand before the end of the year.
