Online education and training aggregators GO1 have set up their brand-new global headquarters in Logan, Queensland.
The business, co-founded by young entrepreneurs Vu Tran (pictured) and Andrew Barnes, offers more than 45,000 training courses online form a range of different education content providers.
Tran says running his globally focused company from Queensland makes practical sense.
"GO1 is the world's largest online training marketplace with offices all over the world. We're excited to establish our global headquarters right here in Underwood," says Tran.
"Logan is a high-growth area and well-connected with its transport infrastructure, making it easy for our staff to travel and have a work-life balance that is the envy of many."
The Logan City Council attracted GO1 through its Investment Attraction Incentive Fund, launched in 2018 to attract businesses into the area.
City of Logan's director of strategy and sustainability David Hansen has welcomed GO1 to the city.
"To see new businesses coming to Logan and creating jobs is a wonderful thing for the city and part of Council's big picture plan to help stimulate the local economy," says Hansen.
"These investments will stimulate significant economic and community benefits and diversity and add value to the wider regional economy beyond the growth of the business."
GO1 joins other businesses that have set up their base in Logan including Help Enterprises, Pinnacle Hardware, and Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre.
