BRISBANE LAWYERS HOP ON THE BIKE FOR BRAVEHEARTS

BRISBANE LAWYERS HOP ON THE BIKE FOR BRAVEHEARTS

A leading Brisbane law firm will be joining the race to protect Australian kids in this year’s Bravehearts annual Time Trial cycling event.

Four riders from Clayton Utz will go head to head with pro-cyclists from ORICA-greenEDGE and other corporates from Sealy and Sci Fleet Motors in the Tour de France style event.

Clayton Utz special counsel and team captain Chris Slocombe says the crew is excited to be competing again in the effort to raise money for Australian children and families affected by sexual assault.

“We had such a great time in the inaugural event that we wanted to get on board again and compete in this unique cycle for kids,” says Slocombe.

Each participant in the event hopes to raise at least $1000 for the Bravehearts charity and test their mettle against some of the country’s best professional cyclists in the process.

The event features a ramp start, live video feed and timing technology characteristic of any major professional cycling event, with a number of prizes on offer for the highest fundraisers and fastest pace-setters.

Wheels start rolling at 7:00am on Sunday 30 November in Brisbane’s Samford Valley.
