NEW YORK FASHION WEEK FAVOURITE HOMEBODII DEBUTS AT DAVID JONES

MOTIVATED to capture the Mother's Day market in style, lace and bridal loungewear boutique brand homebodii has made its David Jones debut.

Homebodii designs have officially launched online and in its flagship David Jones store at Elizabeth Street in Sydney.

The Gold Coast-based brand founded in 2011 by fashion designer Ingrid Bonnor (pictured) has taken off worldwide, backed by popular US magazines Cosmo Bride and Style Me Pretty.

Bonnor is excited about the new sales opportunity through David Jones, and is looking forward to being able to introduce her brand to more Aussie women as the ideal blend between modern elegance and old-school charm.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for homebodii to partner with Australia's most prestigious department store," says Bonnor.

"Homebodii's designs are for modern women, inspired by classic old world glamour. We look to find that balance between modern femininity and functionality with our sleepwear, and use luxurious fabrics that mould to the body and beautiful lace for elegant finishes.

"We want to help women feel beautiful and also act as the perfect go to gift for brides and bridesmaids."

The homebodii collection featured its debut runway show at New York Fashion Week late last year, grabbing attention from the likes of Taylor Swift and Aussie TV personality and Bachelorette Sophie Monk.

David Jones general manager of womenswear Damian Burke says he is delighted to have homebodii designs gracing the shelves.

"We are thrilled to welcome the homebodii collection to our range of sleepwear," says Burke.

"The designs are beautifully crafted, timeless options for our customers looking for feminine sleepwear solutions."
