VILLA WORLD LAUNCHES NEW REDLAND BAY PROJECT

GOLD Coast-listed developer Villa World continues to expand its footprint in Redland Bay, launching a new residential project in the growing region.

Seascape, located on an elevated waterside site overlooking the planned Weinam Creek marina development, will feature 99 designer townhouses that aim to reflect the character of a coastal village.

Villa World expects the new development will attract retirees and empty nesters who are seeking a low maintenance home.

"It will have a distinctive seaside village vibe and we're expecting strong interest from downsizers across the bayside region," says Villa World senior development manager Murray Simpson.

Residents at Seascape will have access to a range of recreational facilities including a park, community vegetable garden, swimming pool and barbecues.

They will also be a short walk from the 42ha Weinam Creek marina development, which is poised to become the cultural and economic heart of Redland Bay.

Seascape will be developed over four stages with townhouses starting at $445,000.

Each home will feature three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan living area, a covered entertainment space, steel appliances, air conditioning and a lock-up garage.

Seascape is the latest of a series of Villa World communities in the Redlands including completed projects Mt Cotton Village and East Ridge and current developments Era at Capalaba, Waterline and Affinity at Thornlands and Ellabay in Redland Bay.

Meanwhile, Villa World has unveiled the next stage of its popular Era residential community at Capalaba on Brisbane's bayside.

Stage six of Era will offer 32 homes on lots ranging from 375sqm to 760sqm, and priced from $499,000.  The project will ultimately comprise 200 homes once complete.
