LIVING IN NO ONE'S SHADOW

DANIEL de Vries has spent the past 15 years gunning to become a benchmark leader in the management of new age events.

"I started this business because I had a passion for events and audio visual with a background working in hotels and convention centres across Australia," says de Vries, the founder of Blue Shadow Group.

"Having always been a natural leader I wanted to explore my entrepreneurial skills and create events that would inspire others."

De Vries has taken a significant leap forward in giving his business an edge through a mastery of web technology and innovative multi-area conference solutions.

"One of the key moments for the business is Blue Shadow's expansion into hybrid events, this being the integration of large international conferences via web streaming," he says.

Blue Shadow Group has taken on work for a variety of high-profile clients, including Professionals Real Estate, Leighton Contractors and Amcal. Its target market is largely organisations hosting national and international industry events including gala dinners, product launches, and sporting events.

"We have a vision to be a benchmark leader with new age hybrid events with an emphasis on web streaming going into the future," says de Vries.

"We also plan to gain a larger foothold in the events industry by offering a greater range of event products."
