JULIEANNE Alroe (pictured) was general manager of the Sydney Airport Corporation for eight years before taking on the role of CEO at the Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) in early 2009.

“One of the primary advantages Brisbane has over every other Australian airport other than maybe Melbourne, is that we have a good land mass, which creates a nice big buffer for aeroplanes to fly over before they cross residential areas,” says Alroe.
