TITANS GATHER AT BOND UNIVERSITY FORUM

TITANS GATHER AT BOND UNIVERSITY FORUM

SOME of the sharpest minds in the Australian business world will be at Bond University next month for the annual KPMG Titans of Industry Forum.

The theme of the forum, organised by the Bond Investment Group (BIG), is one of the most pertinent issues currently facing the Australian economy – global competitiveness.

Chair of BIG, Courtney Olden, says the annual student-run event encourages high-level thinking and debate.

Speakers confirmed for this year’s forum include a number of senior figures from Australia’s corporate community Dr John Laker (former chairman of APRA), Gary Wingrove (CEO of KPMG) and Robert Jeremenko (senior tax counsel with The Tax Institute).

The facilitator will be Robert Milliken, Australian correspondent at The Economist.

“This panel will be discussing some of the critical issues facing the business leaders of today and tomorrow and under Robert Milliken’s guidance I think there will be a variety of issues unearthed and discussed,” says Olden.

Previous speakers at the annual forum have included Sir Richard Branson and David Gonski.

The event is being held in the Princeton Room at Bond University at noon on September 23.

Tickets to the Titans of Industry Forum are priced at $100 per person and available on the Bond Investment Group website www.bondinvestmentgroup.org
