Strive for success with a Cranfield scholarship

ONE of the world’s most prestigious management schools is seeking the perfect applicant for its Australian MBA scholarship.

The Cranfield Australian Alumni Scholarship is the highest value scholarship available in Australia and, unlike many others, is open to applicants who may not have completed an undergraduate degree.

The scholarship to the UK’s Cranfield University School of Management was established to give talented Australians the chance to benefit from world-class business education and has been awarded to applicants who have demonstrated through their work track record that they have the talent and persistence to excel and succeed.

Jointly funded by the UK university and the Cranfield Alumni in Australia, the scholarship is focused on identifying future leaders and entrepreneurs and providing them with a unique opportunity to accelerate their professional and personal development.

The scholarship is valued at $85,000 and includes a $20,000 grant to cover living expenses.

Winner of the 2007 inaugural Cranfield scholarship Sarah Nicholson, who is now working for BHP Billiton out of London, says the process was straightforward and the opportunities boundless.

“My year at Cranfield can’t be easily summed up in a few lines. It was a truly amazing time filled with the most diverse group of people that turned into fantastic friends scattered all over the world,” says Nicholson.

“It gave me the chance to do new things, try out new ways of working and learn an enormous amount not only about business but about myself and other people.”
