BRISBANE has been given a taste of the Ivy League this week, when Harvard Business School came to Queensland Small Business Week.
"Research has shown that Queensland has proportionally more small business tigers than any other state or territory," says minister for tourism, major events, small business and the Commonwealth Games Jann Stuckey.
One of the larger Brisbane events took place on Tuesday, spotlighting professor Josh Lerner from Harvard Business School at City Hall.
"The week celebrates the important role small business plays in the Queensland economy, considering it accounts for around 95 per cent of all business in the state."
