MOSAIC TARGETS GROWING DEMAND IN CHERMSIDE

MOSAIC Property Group has launched a high-end development in Chermside, as the suburb continues its evolution as an employment and infrastructure hub.

Neighbouring the Westfield Chermside shopping centre, Evoke by Mosaic will deliver 60 luxury apartments to tap into growing demand.

The developer says the property has already received significant pre-sales interest from owner occupiers and investors attracted to employment opportunities.

Mosaic Property Group managing director Brook Monahan says an influx of young professionals, families and downsizing households are seeking apartment living options in the area.

"Chermside has been identified as a key area for employment growth in south east Queensland, expected to generate over 6700 additional jobs in the retail, government, health and community service sectors between 2011 and 2031," Monahan says.

"Conveniently located only eight kilometres from the city, Chermside is a mini-CBD in the making, with high frequency public transport, nearby education facilities and employment opportunities from the Prince Charles Hospital and surrounding retail destinations.

"With the area's population also expected to grow by three per cent per annum over the next 20 years, Chermside is fast becoming a highly sought after city-fringe location, so it is an ideal time for buyers to secure valuable real estate with the potential to yield strong capital growth in the future."

Construction on Evoke is expected to commence in late August.
