Light up the night

THE Leukaemia Foundation has expanded its annual Light the Night event to include six new locations.

Whether you have lost a loved one to the disease, know someone who is suffering or just wish to show support, join fellow Queenslanders on a walk at sunset to remember, celebrate and to give hope.

Thousands of people are expected to Light The Night at celebrations in Brisbane, Bundaberg, Cairns, Gold Coast, Mackay, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Townsville on October 8.

You can help to create a beautiful sea of lights by lighting your own balloon. Each coloured balloon contains a tiny light and has a special meaning.
