Google, Tesla, PayPal entrepreneurs to shed light on the Gold Coast's future

Entrepreneurs and tech experts behind the likes of Google, Tesla, PayPal and Apple are coming to the Gold Coast and will be sharing key insights as part of the landmark Gold Coast Way Ahead event to take place on 15 May.

Gold Coast Way Ahead, run in collaboration with innovation festival Myriad, will feature keynote speakers including SpaceX and Tesla board member Steve Jurvetson, Google Maps product manager Clementine Jacoby and CEO of marketing software company Integrate Jeremy Bloom.

These influential leaders and techpreneurs will join a host of other Silicon Valley giants in sharing industry trends, tips and insights on how the city can best shape its economy.

In a discussion moderated by Sky News chief business reporter Ingrid Willinge, the seven keynote speakers will tackle topics including events, business and investment, education, infrastructure, culture, health and transport on the Gold Coast.

Gold Coast Way Ahead will take place at The Star Gold Coast as part of Business Week 2018.

Managing director of Business News Australia Camilla Jansen says the event is a singular opportunity to network with Silicon Valley heavyweights, including seven of the biggest keynotes from Myriad 2018.

"Gold Coast Way Ahead is a unique chance for local entrepreneurs and business owners to hear and share recommendations for the future of their city," says Jansen.

"Coupled with meeting and gaining insight from the people behind many of Silicon Valley's biggest businesses, it's definitely an event not to be missed."

Tickets to Gold Coast Way Ahead start from $75, ranging to $600 for the premium experience which includes lunch at Rick Shores plus an exclusive networking hour prior to the main event.
