GOLD COAST'S BEST BUILDERS REVEALED

GOLD COAST'S BEST BUILDERS REVEALED

THE results are in, as Master Builders Queensland have officially named the best builders on the Gold Coast at the annual 2016 Housing & Construction Awards.

A total of 48 winners were announced at the ceremony held at Jupiters Hotel and Casino, with Austen Ritchie Builder and Brookfield Multiplex taking out top honours on the night.

For creating a stunning heritage-inspired masterpiece in the heart of Beechmont, the judges looked no further than Austen Ritchie Builder when it came to awarding the House of the Year.

Employing magnificent sandstone craftsmanship alongside meticulously detailed luxury fittings and finishes, this Scottish-style manor has become the crowning jewel of Austen Ritchie's portfolio.

Brookfield Multiplex also took the competition to new heights, winning the Project of the Year award for adding the striking Rhapsody tower to the Surfers Paradise skyline.

The 41-storey Rhapsody tower boasts 223 units, featuring a sky deck with communal garden, recreational areas, two executive lounges and a gymnasium, all set against a spectacular seaside backdrop.

Master Builders Regional Manager John Duncalfe has congratulated the winners from each of the categories, noting the exceptional benchmarks hit across the board.

"The standard we have seen this year is incredible and demonstrates the impeccable talent and expertise of our industry," says Duncalfe.

"The Housing & Construction Awards provide an opportunity to recognise this talent, and it is great that after 29 years, they continue to be sought after by the state's top builders and tradespeople."
