FOR THE LAWYER ON THE GO

FOR THE LAWYER ON THE GO
MCINNES Wilson Lawyers have launched a new service that will put legal services on speed dial.

lexvoco has been launched with a goal of alleviating pressure encountered by general counsel and law firm partners.

Corporate and commercial lawyer Anthony Wright (pictured), who is the founder of lexvoco, says the service ticks all the boxes for cost, efficiency and satisfaction from both an employee and client perspective.

Wright has developed into a strategy specialist following years of consulting legal teams of global brands. His experience includes serving as general counsel and general manager of strategy at an ASX100 diverse industrials business and working as general manager for the PGA Tour of Australasia.

"We're thrilled to be able to provide a viable solution that will help in-house legal teams and law firms throughout Australia by providing flexible passionate lawyers when clients are short-staffed or lack the necessary skills internally," says Wright.

"On short notice our experienced people can be in a client's office or work remotely for days, months or years.

"From eager law graduates to semi-retired general counsel and senior partners, we have a lot covered."

Wright says the flexible service offered by lexvoco targets burnout associated with the legal profession, which is often the instigator of costly mistakes and frustrated clients.

He also says it is relevant to "an industry where demand fluctuates and is unpredictable".

Paul Tully, CEO of McInnes Wilson Lawyers, says the service is ideally suited to the changing industry.

"We know the industry is changing and we must think differently as well," says Tully.

"The relationship with lexvoco and its team will also provide opportunities for our lawyers to work in-house with great brands."
