Expert360 pens $500m deal with recruitment giant Hudson

Expert360 is on track to becoming the world's biggest jobs platform for highly skilled, non-permanent professionals following a deal with recruitment giant Hudson.

The marketplace and management platform for independent consultants and contractors has penned a deal with Hudson that is worth $500 million.

As part of the deal, Expert360 will assist Hudson to fill over 25,000 contractor roles over the next 12 months.

It is the latest in a string of good news for Expert360, a Sydney-based business that has tripled in size over the last 36 months and has raised around $20 million in funding to date.

"We've carved out a leadership position in APAC with plenty of room to grow and now it's our aim to become the biggest knowledge-worker marketplace in the world," says Expert360 CEO and co-founder Bridget Loudon (pictured).

"The contract recruitment industry is going through a period of unprecedented change as technology opens up direct access to job opportunities and freelancers search for more flexible and intuitive contracting experiences."

"We've created a solution which allows the recruitment industry to disrupt itself by redefining the contracting experience for their clients and candidates."

Hudson COO Martin Hayden says Expert360's marketplace and intelligent matching software will revolutionise the recruitment industry.

"Expert360's technology is key to unlocking the untapped potential in the recruitment industry," says Hayden.

"We believe their software will act as a force multiplier for our recruitment specialists and will empower our team to create an unprecedented hiring experience for our clients and candidates."
