Envirosuite cracks into China after $10m raise

Following a successful $10 million raise to expand its business into China, Envirosuite (ASX: EVS) has signed an agreement with a Beijing-based environmental protection company.

The deal with BHZQ Environmental Engineering Technologies sees Envirosuite named BHZQ's preferred provider for monitoring air and noise quality and corrosion in sewage systems.

The two will jointly promote environmental management using Envirosuite's environment management software to provide a solution suite for the waste and water sector.

Ultimately, Envirosuite hopes broad adoption of the technology will see environmental and community outcomes in China and globally.

BZHQ is an environmental engineering technology company that combines new technologies and management solutions for the water sector. It manages high value water infrastructure assets and develops end-to-end solutions for its customers.

"The relationship with BHZQ provides a strong commercial case to extend our industry offering much deeper into the operations of our clients," says Envirosuite CEO Peter White (pictured centre).

"This is where we see Envirosuite extending the value proposition from an environmental management solution to a core operations offering that offers a material and measurable ROI. This will embed Envirosuite as a 'need-to-have' industry solution that we believe will drive broad adoption in the sector."

Envirosuite was a new entrant in the 2019 Brisbane Top Companies list, coming in at number 49.

Shares in Envirosuite are up 4.62 per cent to $0.34 per share at 1.04pm AEDT.
