DENNING INSURANCE LAW OPENS IN BRISBANE

DENNING INSURANCE LAW OPENS IN BRISBANE
KATE Denning has opened Denning Insurance Law in Brisbane CBD, a boutique firm that intends to simplify the infrastructure of larger firms.

The firm offers legal services for corporate clients and insurers in the areas of public liability, workers' compensation, and compulsory third party, marine and commercial claims.

Denning Insurance Law is located at 320 Adelaide Street, deliberately central to client locations, settlement conferences and the courts.

Denning is the sole lawyer at the practice, but intends to take on more staff in the coming months.

"With 12 years of experience in injury litigation, in a variety of roles and across all types of insurance litigation, my breadth of experience offers clients a 'big picture' approach to dispute resolution," says Denning.

Denning has sidestepped from McCullough Robertson, where she worked as Special Counsel and acted as a panel lawyer for a number of insurers and corporate clients, managing insurance litigation.

"While my decision to leave the firm was not an easy one, I felt that it was time to take my career to the next level and starting my own practice has been a very natural progression," she says.

"I'm excited to be able to deliver clients the same trademark standard of work they know and trust, through my own practice."

Denning says her across the board experience means she has an extensive network of contact, and is equipped to anticipate problems and develop solutions for clients at an early stage.

"Having had the experience of working in-house at Australia's largest government owned compulsory third party insurer, I also understand what clients require of law firms they engage," says Denning.

"There's a growing number of clients who are unhappy about subsidising the infrastructure of large Australian and local firms, and our services will appeal to these clients.

"Our business and systems at Denning Insurance Law are designed for every claim to be managed by a senior lawyer, without duplication 'one claim, one dedicated lawyer'.

"We believe a focus on service in this way, can deliver the best results for clients, at the earliest possible stage."
