NRG Global Solutions has increased debt collecting operations by 250 per cent over the last six months, and has expanded operations with a 160-seat call centre in the Philippines.
Corporate client debt referrals have increased by 200 per cent since last financial year and CEO Michael Bubke does not expect that number to slow down, as rising unemployment and lower consumer spending have led to a higher number of payment defaults.
He says the Philippines call centre complements Australian operations, providing a more effective outsourcing option than India with better customer service and operations.
“The Philippines is an excellent environment for our operations - the call centre facilities and technology are more advanced than India,” says Bubke.
“We ensure we hire the right people through comprehensive testing at the start and spend a lot of money investing in their training and development.”
