Camplify to arrange free accommodation for bushfire victims

With close to 2,000 homes destroyed over this horror bushfire period many Australians are without viable accommodation as the crisis continues.

Australia's largest caravan hire and RV sharing community Camplify has stepped up to the plate to offer those affected by the fires free temporary accommodation.

The scale-up has created a dedicated team to field requests for emergency accommodation.

Those that require the emergency accommodation can submit a request here or call Camplify on 1300 416 133.

"We have a team committed to reviewing each and every request and will work together with the state authorities to connect those in need with our community of neighbourhood caravans where possible," says Camplify.

"Our objective is to provide as many beds as possible, therefore accommodation may range from soft floor basic camper trailers to luxury motorhomes. Some vans may have bathrooms and some may not. Due to the current need, we may not be able to prioritise but will try to place people in the best available van."

Camplify is also calling on van owners, dealers and manufacturers to help provide temporary emergency accommodation solutions for bushfire impacted residents and relief workers.

Those who are willing and able to share their van with Camplify for emergency accommodation should get in touch with the company here.
