BLOOMTOOLS POISED FOR GROWTH FOLLOWING CANADA EXPANSION

BLOOMTOOLS has expanded into Canada in a move that could see the Gold Coast technology company extend its reach further into other offshore markets.

Five years after taking on the New Zealand market, Bloomtools has teamed up with Canada’s Print Three to roll out a network of up to 20 franchises over the next two years.

The expansion comes 10 years after Bloomtools was established by James Greig and Tracey Voyce, who have developed a reputation for an innovative approach to building websites and business software for small to medium-sized businesses.

Bloomtools has franchisees in Australia and New Zealand with more than 1600 websites using its platform, which Greig says is at the core of the company’s unique offering.

“Bloomtools operates on a different paradigm to typical web developers,” he says.

“Clients’ websites are run from a single code-base, which means that when software is improved for one customer, all customers enjoy the enhancements automatically.”

Greig, the Bloomtools CEO, says consistent growth of the business domestically has driven the planned expansion into offshore markets.

“One of the big benefits with the Canadian business is that we are working with a team that has experience growing a franchise network quickly,” he says.

“So, in two years they expect to have 20 franchisees which will make a big difference to our profitability.”

Print Three has more than 35 years’ experience in franchising and more than 15 years in website design, programming, and online marketing.

“Partnering with a group that we know has all the required skills and experience to build a successful Canadian franchising model in the web development industry was the perfect fit to launch Bloomtools’ products and services into the Canadian market,” Greig says.

Boaz Willinger, who is heading the new operation as president of Bloomtools Canada, says the company has made significant headway by signing up and training its first five Canadian franchisees.

“We now have outlets operating in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, and we’re proud to say that they are already selling websites and other Bloomtools products,” Willinger says.

“Bloomtools is unique from anything else in the Canadian web space.”

The company says its platform offers measurable results and seamlessly enables businesses to manage all their online marketing with one simple log-in for their website, CRM, email marketing, social media, database management, SMS and SEM initiatives.

“The software we developed does a lot heavy pushing for business,” says Greig.

“Bloomtools’ customers also reap the benefits of the most cutting-edge technologies available.

“Five years ago for example, smart phones weren’t as prolific as they are today and older websites need to be upgraded to adapt.

“But we’ve just rolled out a mobile phone feature that allows all of our clients’ websites to benefit from the changes at once.”

Greig says the success of the Canadian expansion will shape plans to move into other offshore markets.

“We have been in discussion with other parties, but our main focus for now will be on the Canadian business,” he says.
