BEAN THERE GOING FOR MORE

AS the churn of his Bowen Hills coffee-roasting business sounds in the background, Phillip Di Bella (pictured) takes a moment to smell the coffee and discuss the company’s launch in China and India and of course – the company’s new product Torq.

Di Bella started his business in 2002 as a one man band and in just under a decade has achieved remarkable success.

Phillip Di Bella was crowned the Brisbane Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010 with annual turnover of $20 million and forecasted growth of 60 per cent. As Brisbane Business News prepares to hit the go button and opens nominations for the 2011 awards, we speak to Di Bella about an exciting launch to market with a new product and his take on the future of the coffee industry.
