Business leaders connected via IBL

THE Institute of Business Leaders has through their new branding, been able to create a powerful organisation which gives individuals the ability to request business meetings with business leaders of choice.
Institute of Business leaders CEO, Jevena O’Brien, says this innovation, available only to members of the institute, had already proved powerful in saving members money in advertising, marketing and operations.
The IBL website, www.businessleaders.com.au is now the online platform for business development in the city with the site now exceeding 350,000 hits and IBL members getting the return on their membership investment almost immediately.
O’Brien says membership of the institute is growing rapidly which equates to more benefit for those who are already members.
“I have been delighted to welcome so many new members to the IBL community. We make this service as easy as possible for our members,” she says.
IBL members Aussie Accounts’ Adam Gallagher and Intercept’s Jerry Lambert both attest to the proof of product.
“It couldn’t be more simple or convenient,” says Lambert.
“All we need to do is first make a commitment to use our membership effectively. And to do this we use the IBL website to identify business leaders we need to make contact with to help us achieve our KPIs, fill out a request for a business meeting, and IBL does the rest.
“The IBL team contacts that business leader, organises the meeting or lunch, hosts the event, gives feedback on the meeting and also gives me feedback from the business leader with whom I have just met.
“It is a great help to my decision making and helps me avoid wasting time and money chasing leads or spending dollars I don’t really want to spend on advertising.”
Gallagher agrees: “Not only have I already achieved a return on my investment I am about to attend workshops to help me use my business meetings more effectively.”
IBL is offering all members an invitation to attend a series of Members Business Meeting Workshops to be held at the Institute’s head office in Southport on April 22 from 4-5pm.
O’Brien says the workshops provide members with the information they need to get the ball rolling straight away in getting their return on their membership investment.
The next workshop will target the website.
“We show members how to go about identifying the people they need to meet in order to generate new business. An important part of the session will be showing them how to use the IBL website in order to make it a powerful tool for your business success,” says O’Brien.
Learning to use the IBL website effectively would not be a daunting task she said.
“We want to make sure all of our members benefit from using the website as a formidable business tool,” she says.
“We understand that many people are a little phased by internet technology so we have taken steps to make it easy for them.
“So much so that they will feel confident using the IBL website any time they wish. IBL membership ensures 24/7 convenience.”
