The BMW 220d Coupé produces 135kw from its four-cylinder diesel engine, reaching 100km/h in 7.1 seconds and costs from $52,500.

At the higher end of the scale, the M235i boasts zero to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds using 240kw of power and starts at $79,900.

All models come standard with eight-speed sports automatic transmission with gear shift paddles and launch control function.
