ELYSIA BILLINGHAM

Mulpha Sanctuary Cove has appointed Elysia Billingham to sales manager. She is joining the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show team in its 27th year, and bringing more than 13 years of experience in sales and retail management roles across Australia to the team. Pictured right with Harry Davis.

JOHAN HASSER

Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has promoted Johan Hasser as general manager and head of marketing and events. Prior to this, Hasser was head of events for Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. Pictured left.

 

 

BRETT CHRIST

Hilton Surfers Paradise has announced the appointment of Brett Christ as general manager. In his new role, Christ will take responsibility for the operation of the 419-room combined hotel and residences property. He has more than 20 years of hospitality experience with Hilton Worldwide.His Hilton career has seen him traverse the breadth of Asia Pacific, including assignments in Australia, Malaysia, India, China and Thailand. His experience in hospitality spans functions such as general management, food & beverage, operations and human resources.

VANESSA DE GROOT

Vanessa De Groot has started her own freelance business, De Groot Communications. With more than a decade of experience in property and finance, De Groot will specialise in this field but also provide writing, editing and public relations services across a variety of industries. De Groot was a former on-staff journalist for publications including The Courier-Mail and national magazine Australian Property Investor, and was a former deputy editor of the same publication. She also held managerial positions in public relations for property services groups Colliers International and Place Estate Agents.

BRENDAN IDEMA

Reflective of the company's continued national growth, Sentinel Property Group has appointed Brendan Idema to the newly created position of manager property operations. Idema brings more than 11 years of experience in commercial banking and finance to the role, the last seven of which he worked with Commonwealth Banking in business banking and corporate finance capacities.

CHRIS PARTRIDGE

Hilton Brisbane has welcomed Chris Partridge as its new general manager. Having spent 25 years at Hilton Worldwide, Partridge brings a wealth of experience to the role. He worked his way from food and beverage in London through to general manager roles at Hilton Melbourne Airport, Hilton Auckland, Hilton Lake Taupo and Hilton Surfers Paradise. Partridge joins Hilton Brisbane in time for the re-launch of a number of leisure facilities throughout the hotel.

ROBERT PEARSON

Australia's largest gas infrastructure business, APA Group, has appointed Robert Pearson as its Queensland natural gas marketing representative. Pearson has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, previously holding national management roles with companies such as Porter Equipment.
