SLATER AND GORDON ACQUIRES PERSONAL INJURY FIRM

INTERNATIONAL firm Slater and Gordon have announced their acquisition of Victorian and South Australian based personal injury specialists Nowicki Carbone.

Slater and Gordon Personal Injury general manager Janine Gregory says the newly combined team will be a particular force in the realm of personal injury law, as both firms have outstanding records in the area.

“By joining forces, more Australians in more locations will have access to our world class legal services through our expanded pool of lawyers and increased presence in Victoria and South Australia,” says Gregory.

“This is an exciting new era for our firms and I am pleased to welcome Nowicki Carbone to the Slater and Gordon team.”

Nowicki Carbone managing partner Tony Carbone echoes this sentiment, and says the firm is looking forward to being part of a law firm with international reach.

“We have admired the way Slater and Gordon has grown its business across Australia and in the UK,” says Carbone.

“With Slater and Gordon’s support, we will build on our personal injury services as well as expand into new areas of law.”

The newly acquired firm will expand services offered to include conveyancing, criminal and family law.
