TEST DRIVE A POST GRAD AT BOND

TEST DRIVE A POST GRAD AT BOND
THERE'S only one way to really move your career into the fast lane, says Bond University, and 'test driving' will help you figure that out quick smart.

Bond Business School is offering a Postgraduate Test Drive, for those who are curious, but not yet committed.

A test drive like none other, Bond Business School offers complimentary meetings with its Program Director, academics and current students, as well as tours and class trials.

Bond Business School Executive Dean, Professor Terry O'Neill, believes lifelong learning is no longer a luxury for a select few.

He says just like the initiation into Bond Business School is unique, through a test drive, the School has also reimagined the whole premise of 'business education'.

"We're breaking down the walls between the classroom and the corporate world. Our students don't just study theory in a lecture hall they do internships and projects with major national and international enterprises," says Professor O'Neill.

"We have no hesitation in claiming that no other business school can offer the personalised, practical and real world learning experience that we have crafted at Bond Business School."

It's not just for 'corporate types' either, with creatives also flocking to Bond Business School to upskill. The School has seen through professionals as diverse as executives of multinationals, to film producers like Scott Corfield, who recognised the need to broaden his skillset once he realised producing a film shared similarities with launching a startup venture.

"You need to raise finances, assemble a well-oiled team, manage a tight budget, and deliver a high-quality product," says Corfield.

"I was the only one in my MBA cohort working towards a career in film production, but that's the best thing about Bond's MBA: It's extremely versatile and can be applied to any industry."

With three intakes per year in January, May and September, Bond Business School always has a seat reserved in the fast lane for its candidates. As well, the 12-subject program can be completed in 16 months, or as little as 12 months with approval from the School based on individual career and personal circumstances.

The typical MBA student in 2016 was international with nine years of work experience, but undergraduate students can take on a Master of Business immediately to enter the workforce with higher level qualifications.

As a niche University, Bond also offers the only accredited Actuarial Science program in Queensland, and with that, the only Master. Handpicked, like all Bond programs, this growth sector is tipped to drastically shape the worlds of mathematics, statistics, data analytics, finance, economics and accounting in the years to come.

Bond Business School is among the 2 per cent of business schools worldwide to be awarded EQUIS accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and among the 5 per cent to have earned AACSB accreditation.
