BUSINESS NEWS AUSTRALIA AND IVVY TEAM UP

BUSINESS News Australia has launched a new venue hire site in partnership with leading events and venue management cloud computing software company iVvy, in a move that is set to further revolutionise the way businesses plan and manage their event needs.

The new venue hire site offers the opportunity for event planners to easily search, compare and book event venues online.

The unique site gives customers unprecedented power and control over their events and offers venues the opportunity to connect directly and in real time.

Users are able to book any and all events, including parties, gala dinners, private dining's, weddings, business meetings and multi-day conferences, through the Business News Australia Venue Hire website.

From boutique bars, to golf clubs, restaurants and function areas in larger hotels, the site allows users to benefit from quicker access, process efficiencies and better experiences.

"iVvy is pleased to have partnered with Business News Australia, providing the venues on our marketplace with a whole new customer-base; and consumers more ways to access event venues across Australia," says iVvy CEO Lauren Hall.

iVvy was first established as an events and venue management cloud computing software that enables event organisers to run and manage events effectively.

Hundreds of clients including Telstra, Rio Tinto, Woolworths, the Queensland Government and Harvey Norman have contributed to more than nine million ticket sales and transactions on the iVvy platform.

Founded by Hall and Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist James Greig (pictured), iVvy goes one step further and works as a one-stop shop for all event needs and allows planners to find a venue and book it in just six minutes.

Business News Australia managing director Camilla Jansen says she is thrilled to have partnered with such an innovative company.

"This platform can assist with all areas of an event, from speakers to lighting and décor it is something that has never been done before and it truly has, and is going to continue to, revolutionise the events industry," says Jansen.

"We look forward to working with iVvy as it aims to make a global name for itself, and we are proud to offer our readers a one-stop shop for their event needs making it easier and more efficient for our audience to connect with venues around the country whenever or wherever they are.

"Business News Australia is constantly on the lookout for new and exciting partnerships that help to promote and foster entrepreneurship and innovation."
