ADELAIDE LANDMARK'S REVIVAL AS $275M TOWERS

THE former Trims Family Clothing store will be converted into $275 million mixed-use twin towers, kicking off a wave of luxury redevelopment for Adelaide.

Developer Karidis Corporation will relaunch the landmark building located at 322 King William Street as Three-Two-Two.

The project will comprise two 30-level glass towers with a mix of high-end apartments, commercial office suites, restaurants and retail outlets.

Karidis Corporation chairman Gerry Karidis AM says the project was inspired by some of the finest hotels in the world.

"322KWS will rival the standards of prestige apartments found in some of the greatest cities in the world," Karidis says.

"We are very proud to present this new fusion of luxury and lifestyle to Adelaide."

Both towers feature 63 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and will rise from a two-storey central podium, containing more restaurants and bars.

Apartments and commercial suites will also have their own private concierge, the first development of this kind to offer this service in Adelaide.

Savills Residential agent Steve Testar says Three-Two-Two will appeal to owner-occupiers looking for a hotel lifestyle.

"With the quality of this five-star development, we anticipate that there will be a number of local, national and international owners, investors and tenants looking to secure their position in this landmark project," Testar says.

"Moreover, while there continues to be significant interest in Sydney's residential market, we have also seen a shift with international buyers showing a growing interest in Adelaide."

There will be 20 floors of commercial space between the two towers for purchase or lease, as well as two floors of retail space.
