BRUCE LYNTON RALLIES FOR LOCAL CHARITIES

THE 2016 Bruce Lynton Charity Ball has raised $117,000 for local charities in its 16th year on the Gold Coast.

Beneficiaries this year include Cancer Council Queensland, Guide Dogs Queensland, Youngcare, Men Of Business, 4 ASD Kids and Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation.

Bruce Lynton Automotive Group dealer principal Beric Lynton says the event has become a highlight on the social calendar.

"The Bruce Lynton Charity Ball has been running since 2001 and over that time we have helped to raise in excess of $1.7 million for local charities," Lynton says.

"It was heart-warming to see the overwhelming support we received again this year from the local community in terms of ticket demand and the kind donations of auction and raffle items.

"It's even more rewarding when we achieve a fantastic result like this."

He says the event wouldn't have been possible without the support of sponsors RACV Royal Pines Resort, CSQD, Digital Lighting Solutions, Carlton United Breweries, William Grant & Sons, Solution Red, Morse Building Consultancy and Moet Hennessy Australia.

This year's event was completely sold out with more than 800 guests bidding on a range of products and services.

The company also hosted a Charity Golf Day for local business owners and executives last month.
