QUEENSLAND winery Sirromet has teamed up with Queensland Cricketers' Club (QCC) to unveil some of the state's oldest cricket memorabilia.
The Sirromet Wall of Fame features more than 60 priceless objects and iconic photographs from 1920 to now.
Sirromet Wines director sales & marketing Rod Hill says the sponsorship allows the winery to cement its rich history with the club.
"Like the QCC, Sirromet is a proud Queensland institution," Hill says.
"By sponsoring the Wall of Fame we are able to give back to our local community and ensure these priceless pieces of cricketing memorabilia remain on show for years to come.
"Many of the items on show have never previously been displayed publicly, and to be the inaugural naming sponsor and provide the resources to bring them to life is a great honour."
He says the collection will be rotated throughout the year to give visitors the chance to properly appreciate each piece over time.
Vintage items featured include autographed d'Arcy Doyle scenes, photos of iconic moments in Australian cricket history and signed team memorabilia from local, state and international test cricket.
Sirromet has also supplied the club with a selection of wines, including the 'iron fist inside a velvet glove' 2007 St Jude's Road Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Sirromet Wall of Fame is open exclusively to QCC members and their guests.
