DATA#3 IMPRESSES MICROSOFT

DATA#3 Limited (ASX: DTL) has risen to the top of the 2015 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Awards.

The Brisbane-based business technology provider has been named a finalist in two categories at the awards, which welcomed more than 2300 entries worldwide.

The Awards recognise top performing Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year.

DTL achieved finalist status in the 'Public Sector: Government' category as well as 'Devices and Deployment (Desktop)' - a category in which the company has enjoyed previous success as winner in 2013 and finalist in 2014.

DTL CEO Laurence Baynham (pictured) says the accolade validates the direction of the company.

"To be named a finalist in two categories at these highly coveted awards is a huge honour for an Australian company," says Baynham.

"Not only does it validate our strategic direction towards a solution and services organisation it also reinforces our commitment to Microsoft's cloud services strategy.

"The award acknowledges our strategic and technical expertise in deploying new and innovative technologies.

"We're particularly proud of our work in designing and implementing a Microsoft cloud mobility solution for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The agency was deployed in record time and under budget, this was a great example of Data#3's capability in delivering customer-focused business outcomes."
