A MURRARIE workplace advisory firm was this week commended twice for its innovative approach to consulting.
The prestigious 2012 Stevie Awards for Women in Business crowned Sentis CEO Chandra Clements (pictured) as Female Executive of the Year in Asia, Australia or New Zealand.
At the international award ceremony in New York, Sentis was also named Most Innovative Company of the Year in the 10+ employee category.
The Stevie Awards honour female executives, entrepreneurs and their companies.
Judges praised Sentis for applying psychological principles to improve safety, wellbeing, organisational and leadership performance for clients in 22 countries.
The company employs 90 staff and operates in Brisbane, Newcastle, Perth, the United States and United Kingdom.
“We do good business for real outcomes utilising the most innovative people. Making money is not the focus; making a difference is,” says 34-year-old Clements.
“I continue to promote our organisation’s ability to enhance the safety, performance and productivity of people across the globe. Pleasingly, in 2012 Sentis continues to experience double-digit growth.”
Clements separately won the national marie claire category of the Telstra Young Business Women’s Awards.
