UNITED COLOURS OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

PUBLIC relations heavyweight Red Agency will merge with Brisbane-based agency Graymedia to expand its reach in Queensland.

Graymedia was established in 2009 and is expected to introduce key resources in health, mining, tourism, education, sport, technology and finance.

Red Agency Australia and Havas PR Asia Pacific managing director James Wright says it’s a strategic investment to develop the company’s presence in the city.

“Our Brisbane office has always been a very tidy operation, but the introduction of Graymedia will help scale up and increase our footprint,” Wright says.

“From the outset there has been an alignment of ideas and approach from both agencies. We are forward-thinking companies with a strong creative slant, a focus on attention to detail and a commitment to evolving the role PR can play for our clients.”

Graymedia owner and founder Yasmine Gray will lead Red Agency Brisbane and report to Wright.

“We have always been very proud to be a Queensland born and bred company that has focused on quality and results,” Gray says.

“Now, together with Red Agency, we have a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop. The future for us all is very bright.”

Red Agency has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
