MANACCOM EXPAND

NOV 2009

E-COMMERCE company Manaccom Corporation (MNL) has signed a five-year lease for 1282sqm on Coronation Drive until May 2014.

It will add to the IT company’s office and warehouse building in Milton, as well as a distribution facility in Darra.

The deal was negotiated by Jones Lang LaSalle’s Christian Sandstrom, who says Toowong has become popular for IT companies with a village atmosphere and CBD proximity.

“With only limited sites available for redevelopment, Toowong has a low vacancy rate of 3 per cent compared to Brisbane’s overall office fringe which sits at 9.1 per cent,” says Sandstrom.

Manaccom CEO Mike Veverka, says the building ticks a number of boxes and is also close to the existing office, which is important given many employees live in the western suburbs.

“Our decision to lease the full floor was based on the suitability of the tenancy fitout, the quality of the building along with its many location benefits including close proximity to staff amenity and conveniences such as public transport,” says Veverka.

The rental rate is $456 per sqm with 23 car spaces at an annual rental of $64,200 per annum.
