DOMINO’S Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) has renewed its Proactive Compliance Deed (PCD) with the Fair Work Ombudsman.
The PCD will ensure ongoing compliance with federal workplace laws and proper workplace training for franchisees.
Domino’s first signed in 2011 and later paid $588,000 to 1600 underpaid delivery drivers, following the self-auditing process.
Fair Work Ombudsman Natalie James says it shows the company’s commitment to its employees.
“The Deeds are a valuable way for us to engage with employers who want to do the right thing and we commend Domino’s for renewing its partnership with us,” James says.
“Employers who care about their reputation should be doing these sorts of things.”
The Fair Work Ombudsman will refer complaints to Domino’s for resolution at the workplace, but will investigate serious matters.
DMP employs about 12,000 people across 500 stores in Australia.
