ANYTIME FITNESS MUSCLES IN ON BRISBANE

GYM franchise Anytime Fitness has continued its assault on Queensland, with plans to open the doors to its 400th club in Aspley early next month.

The global health brand first launched in Australia in 2008 and boasts more than 2700 clubs and two million members worldwide.

Aspley franchisee Brett Colman says this is his first Anytime Fitness club and he is looking forward to working with the business model.

"I am excited to be not only an owner of an Anytime Fitness franchise, but also being part of an industry that has such a positive impact on so many people's lives," Colman says.

"Anytime Fitness head office has provided me with endless support and operating systems to assist in the setup of my first club and I am very proud to opening the 400th."

The company will continue to roll out its ambitious expansion plans, with more club openings slated for Bulimba, Calamvale, Kenmore, Mount Gravatt East and New Farm.

Anytime Fitness Australia co-founder and chairman Justin McDonell says the rapid expansion is a credit to the company's customers.

"Our members mean a lot to us. They'll always be what matters most and are the secret to our success," McDonell says.

"When designing our clubs, we look at what our members will want in their club and the services they will expect.

"We have world class equipment, a functional layout, online health resources, clean bathrooms, top of the range security systems, fitness on request group training facilities and knowledgeable staff who take an interest in all their members and all of this available for members 24 hours seven days a week."

The Aspley club will host a grand opening on May 9, with a guest appearance by Brisbane Broncos player Corey Parker.
